Join us for a reading and Q&A with Portland author Clare Simons, followed by a book signing. Her debut memoir, “To Be Here Is Immense,” traces a lifelong spiritual search, a marriage tested by distance and devotion, and the loss that demanded everything. Simons was the press person for the terminally ill patients who defended Oregon’s Death With Dignity Act at the U.S. Supreme Court, and Kirkus Reviews calls her book “a wryly self-aware story of truth-seeking that becomes darkly gripping in its final pages.”
Admission is free with RSVP. Books will be available for purchase and signing. Wine is included.
