EXHIBITION PATHWAYS

There’s no single way to be part of The Carpenter’s House. Some artists begin with a featured showcase, others start with a steady gallery presence; but over time, many move between both.

Artists In Residence

A flexible way to maintain a consistent presence in the gallery.

3, 6, AND 12-MONTH COMMITMENTS

This program is designed for momentum, not just a moment. The extended timeline allows your work to build visibility, deepen engagement, and live beyond the showcase.

3 Months: $350 | 6 Months: $325 | 12 Months: $300 (Billed Quarterly)

Visiting/Emerging Artist

A short-term exhibit to showcase your work in Olympia. 

INCLUDES:

  • Dedicated 5x 8 gallery space
  • Professional installation
  • Ongoing visibility
  • Event sales includes

3 Months: $175 | 6 Months $150 (Billed Quarterly)

SALES & SUPPORT

HANDLING THE DETAILS

We manage the sales process so you can focus on your work.

This includes:

  • Payment processing
  • Sales tax
  • Buyer communication
  • Inventory tracking

During exhibitions, all artwork is sold through The Carpenter’s House to ensure clarity and consistency. We pay out all sales once per month on the 15th. 

PRICING & COMMISSION

ARTISTS IN RESIDENCE
$300-$350 Per Month; 25% Sales Commission

VISITING/EMERGING ARTISTS
$150-$175 Per Month; 40% Sales Commission

SPONSORED ARTISTS

We support 5 artists per quarter with complimentary gallery space. To apply, please email us. Sales commission split is 55%/45% for sponsored artists.

INSTALLATION & EXPECTATIONS

  • We handle all installation
  • Artists provide ready-to-hang work & inventory
  • Work remains for full display period
  • Pickup within 7 days after exhibition

Sculptural & Installation Work Welcome
We proudly support three-dimensional and installation-based work alongside wall exhibitions. Display space is curated collaboratively, with attention to flow, safety, and presentation.

GOING BEYOND EXHIBITION

At The Carpenter’s House, connection is part of the work.

Showcase artists lead three workshops during their feature month, creating space for hands-on learning and deeper engagement.

All artists are also invited to propose workshops, talks, and creative experiences throughout the year.
